In 1984
the legislature passed Act # 149 which requires anyone born
on or after September 1, 1969 to complete the Louisiana Hunter
Education course before purchasing a hunting license.
Session:
8 hour (lecture)
2 hour range (hands on)
Program Objectives:
- Reduce the number of hunting accidents
- Improve the image of hunters
- Promote shooting sports

- Game Care
- Specialty Hunting
- Survival and First Aid
- Water Safety and Hypothermia
All ages are welcome, However:
Students must be 10 years of age or older to receive their
certification!
